How to Start a Business from Home: Empowering Women for Success

Many women, particularly Mum's looking for a better work-life balance often wonder how to start a Business from home.

Various life-changes can heighten motivation for women to start a home business and I receive hundred of enquiries each week from women hoping to find a business idea from home to allow more freedom, flexibility and quality time with their family.

Often, the women with the highest motivation for starting a business from home are: 

•   Mum’s on maternity leave, feeling anxious about returning to work

•   Mum’s whose children are about to start School and who want to find a new challenge

I took that leap of faith almost 18 years ago, when I first became a Mum to start my own successful home business and I've never looked back!  I can honestly say it was the best thing I’ve ever done!

Yes, running your own home business can be hard work and challenging, but the personal rewards, satisfaction, freedom and flexibility can’t be replicated by any paid employment, despite how supportive your employer may be.

As a busy, working single-parent, I completely understand the challenges that today's modern women face juggling work and family and I empathize why so many women are looking to escape the rat-race to start a home based business.
